Overview

Sushi Plus (Puchong) is a sushi restaurant that delivers an inviting fusion of traditional Japanese flavors and a contemporary casual dining experience. Conveniently located at 13, Jln Kenari 7, Bandar Puchong Jaya, this outlet offers accessibility for sushi enthusiasts in Selangor seeking both quick meals and relaxed dining.

The restaurant’s highlight centers on its sushi variety, with standout items like the Kampung Egg Tamago-Yaki, a cleverly crafted sweet and savory omelette sushi that embodies homely comfort with a Japanese twist. Alongside the sushi staples, customers can explore creative offerings such as the Flavor Kahwin box, which pairs local Malaysian tastes with classic Japanese elements, presenting a unique culinary crossroad that reflects Malaysia’s diverse food culture.

The dining space is thoughtfully designed, balancing a clean and tidy environment with subtle modern aesthetics. Practical touches like charging stations underlie the restaurant’s appeal for younger diners and professionals who may wish to spend time working or socializing. Despite occasional nuisances like minor fly distractions reported by some customers, the overall ambiance remains pleasant and conducive for both small gatherings and solo diners.

Service quality is consistently praised, with friendly staff who provide attentive care that complements the food experience. While the sushi menu in the Puchong branch is slightly less extensive compared to other locations, the quality and freshness remain intact, emphasizing freshly cut sashimi and well-presented nigiri and maki. This makes it a solid choice for diners who value taste and presentation over overwhelming choices.

For families and younger patrons, there is a thoughtful selection of kid-friendly sushi such as Tuna Mayo and Kappa Maki, catering to simpler palates without compromising taste. Drinks like Oolong Tea and Japanese Green Tea round out the experience with authentic beverage options that cleanse the palate and pair seamlessly with sushi.

Parking remains a practical challenge around the area, with many opting for ride-hailing services to avoid the hassle. Still, this minor inconvenience does not overshadow the convenience and quality of the food. Whether you’re after a quick sushi fix on the go or a casual meal with friends, Sushi Plus (Puchong) delivers a balanced mix of Malaysian-inspired flavors and Japanese culinary techniques in a welcoming setting.

The second Sushi Plus restaurant I’ve given a try after I went to their SS15 branch. It ain’t that bad at all, in fact I would say is pretty good! From the restaurant set up, environment, service, noise level, places to charge your devices, price & food taste. It’s almost a complete package. Although in terms of sushi options, there aren’t as many choices as compared to the SS15 branch. But all in all was pretty good experience. Who knows, maybe I’ll come back again when au have the time.

Dropped by Sushi Plus for a quick dinner takeout and tried the Ocean Delight Box. It comes with 11 pieces of nigiri and maki featuring salmon, unagi, prawn, and baby octopus — a solid pick for seafood lovers. The packaging is fun and includes chopsticks and a sauce plate, though a slider design would make picking up the sushi easier. The sushi was a bit too saucy for my taste, and I wish there were more fresh, non-saucy options. Overall, a convenient and tasty option for a quick sushi fix. Good and convenient place to grab some quick and delicious sushi There are many unique and interesting varieties of sushi to choose from. However, so of the sushi can be a bit pricey. Overall, I spent about RM55. The kampung egg tamago and sushi-plus signature are must-try, highly recommended. I like the tiny bowl as well. For dessert, there're some variety of layer cakes, RM16 per piece. If you're dining in, all sauces and wasabi are complimentary, which is nice. I like the design of the restaurant, but there's some flies when I'm eating.

Price is reasonable, and the sushi is fresh and delicious compared to other grab-and-go sushi brands. They even have a seating area beside the shop, with free hot and cold water, wasabi, and sauces. Definitely worth a try!
